Day dark, I am considering selling, may want a GT, yes the real GT. 260 miles, shaker 1000, premium, magnaflow axelbacks and $3600. in wheels & rubber. Would be asking $35K or $32K w/ stock wheels & rubber (17"). Have 120 miles on stock stuff and 140 on new rubber (20"). perfect condition, of course. Has NEVER seen rain, undercarriage is spotless and have NEVER had foot in it.

Have you seen the door panel speakers on a parchment Shaker car yet. If not you had better before you order. Lots of folks would say no to Shaker 500. Have you driven a std radio car and a 500 car yet? Sorry but you really ought to. I'm not going to influence you just seeing if you've been through this yet.

No I haven't yet. What is it you don't like about the Shaker 500/parchment combo? And the std vs 500? Details please!!

Attached is pic of speaker on door panel. Additional charcoal on door panel with int upgrade, w/o these two features you get clean tan doorpanel (no big gear like speakers with weird color scheme in parchment int. I test drove with std radio and then immediately with 500. No brainer for me. ..."skip" the 500 (excuse the pun) std radio sounds awesome and you can upgrade to better and less $$ than shaker.

JMO, you do what you like, just that it's good to see and test drive before you decide. Honsetly not too keen on your Tungsten Grey / Parchment interior combo. Gray and tan just don't do it for me. Vista blue and tan would be a sweet combo. ...but whatever you like. ...assuming you can still order 06 or are you thinking 07.

Realistically, there is so much black anyways in the Parchment interior that the black in the door panels doesn't seem out of place to most people. Honestly though, and this is just my $.02, I don't think the tungsten/parchment combo would look quite right.

No, I just quickly grabbed that off an EBay GT. Here's another w/o the charcoal trim. ...you can see how "beautiful" the 500-1000 speakers are. Over a year ago when I was planning my order and checking every 05 on EBay (weren't many then) I did see the parchment door panel w/o speaker and w/o charcoal trim and I was sold. You are right, there is plenty of charcoal in the interior so it's fine. I just didn't want any more and preferred a simpler/cleaner look of an all tan door panel. JMO

You're not the only one... The speakers/inserts don't bother me personally, but I've heard others with the same opinion.
