Well got up at 7 AM this morning and went for test and tune, first time with the GT and it was a blast! I ran her 5 times and my worst was 13.7 at 105.XX (horrid launch) and the best was 13.3 at 106.XX (okay launch) I really need to perfect the "get out of the hole" deal. I had some good kills tho, beat a new C6 Vette, a 05 GTO, a R/T Charger, and a Roush Stage 2 06 GT. I lost one to a C5 Vette on drag radials with some work he ran a 12.9. All in all it was a good day, temps were high, 96 degrees but it was fun!

how much gas was in your tank?

spare=40lbs
full tank=100lbs (16gal * 6.25lb/gal)
running without a spare and wiht less than 1/8 tank is easily good for .1-.2 in the 1/4 over full tank and spare in

Good times. The spare doesn't way 40 lbs, it is not that heavy.

spare+jack+torque wrench+wood/carpet trunk floor = between 30 and 40lbs. the spare itself with tire weighs 25-27, the other stuff weighs almost 10 together.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking on the spare. I just had to give you a hard time.

that said, i ran a better time with the spare in vs. spare out the first time i went to the track by more than 1 tenth. i liken it to the "sandbag traction" theory, given the 4.10s and stock tires. lol

thanks, it was a ton o fun, i had the spare out and the very first time I did my 1/2 a second wheel spin to clean them right after I was done, the car went "ding" 50 miles to empty oh and the spare was out. it was hot and it prolly woulda helped to have some ice on the intake.
