What I did to my car today (calipers and headrests)
Well, I'm a little under the weather, allergies and s%#, didn't even go out today, BUT I decided to at least make it a productive day and painted the brake calipers and did a very minor mod to the headrests.

Yes, that's where I got the decals from. The ones for the headrest really look like they were painted onto them, when you see them up close they have the same texture as the headrests 'cause I pressed pretty good on them when I put them on.

Yeah, I was having second thoughts about using the decals for the headrests but put them on anyways. I figured I could just take them out if I didn't like them. Here is a close up so you can see what I was talking about, then having the same texture if you press on them hard when installing.

Dood, looks good!!!
Allfyre (mike) painted his calipers as well but the color is starting to come off a little.... any better method of having colored calipers?? I know money is involved and I dont mind paying for a good set of caliper covers if they exist.

If money is not a problem.. you could take the calipers all the way off.. then remove all the o-rings, piston etc.. heat up the outside part of the caliper ( with a torch ) and get some high temp. paint and it shouldn't go anywhere ( paint that is ) I done this years ago with a set of headers .. got the trick from a Hot Rod mag. that paint stayed on them headers forever.. the trick is to paint them while they are still hot..
just a thought... but should work.. but I WOULD NOT OVER HEAT to much as it may warp the calipers and you will end up buying new ones.. piston might leak around the o-rings...
DUE THIS at your own discretion.. again WHAT I DID years ago but on a different part of the car...
