EJD - You are one of very few that feel that way, most people prefer a ducktail spoiler.

If the color of my car was different, I would've kept the stock spoiler and painted it black. Since it's not I want to put a CDC ducktail which doesn't cover up the factory spoiler holes.

Yea, I for one also favor the ducktail by a long shot.

Yes, everytime I wash my car I wish I'd gotten the spoiler delete and then added the ducktail later! It just keeps dripping and then it leaks a little from the struts!

Well the stupid body shop won't weld my holes, so now I have to get my trunk taken somewhere else to be repainted... So fu*king rediculous that they are a body shop and cant weld a few little holes. It will cost like $800 for a new trunk and I don't want to pay that ****. Any opinions on what to do let me know, i'm almost to the point where i'll just put the ricey POS spoiler delete things from CDC on there and have them painted black. I'm so mad right now.

If they can't do it, they don't have any business painting your car in my opinion.

Take it to a reputable body shop.

I honestly shouldn't of went there... I'm going to try and get it taken out tomorrow and not have them paint it. I believe they already started on the car so I might be screwed. If there is any imperfections with the paint job you know I will complain and not give in until it's right.

I thought those trunks were fiberglass? My trunk on my 00GT was fiberglass.... Plus, it's very hard to weld metal that thin, it warps it... I'd try to find a junkyard trunk or find someone with a non-spoiler option and see if they want to trade trunks... Good luck
