anybody see the article in the may issue of 5.0 mustang and super fords? with just ported heads, RWHP was 312. with other bolt ons, it got to 350 AT THE FREAKIN WHEELS. its 1500 bucks to swap your heads with a set of ported stock ones.

some of the bolt ons were of brands not exaclty the best in terms of HP gain tho. so im guessing theres more in it.

I have read this too. As soon as my warranty is almost over then I want to look at getting those ported heads too.

I have that mag. The heads gave it like 28whp and 29wtq

I second that, maybe sooner if i cant wait that long.

yes, you can buy a set of 3v ported heads for 2500; or give them yours and get a set of ported ones for 1500.

pretty good deal IMO; for the guys who want to go N/a. i believe with a nice cam you could probably get to 400 at the wheels.

will this affect your ability at all later down the line when you decide to do forced induction

yes it will. it will improve it lol. the article says these results "only hint at the potential benefits of Livernois' Three valve port job once additional modifications-like say, forced induction, are made."

also im not gonna type it all, it says that basically the port job will magnify your benefits from forced induction.
