Couldn't you fight the fine since they have no proof you were the one driving?

Even if they ask you who was driving, coulnt you say, "Hey, it's a MUSTANG, all my friends want to drive it...I have no idea who I lent it to six weeks ago."

I got a speed camera ticket in DC once too. But good news is they are taking them off, apparently they were not preventing any speeding accidents and a lot of people fought those tickets and won. For me that was the only ticked I ever paid straight without going to court. Now if your ever in Baltimore beware of the red light cameras. Those will get you because the yellow light going from green to red only last like .03 of a second.
The spray does work........so Ive been told

That's almost the worst thing I've ever heard of! Camera speeding tickets, what the hell kinda crap is that? Cops are getting lazy these days..

Cops aren't the ones sitting around saying "hey, lets throw up some cameras so we don't have to write tickets". Municipality leaders are the ones that decide to use them, not the cops.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this but,
First off I have recieved at least 20 tickets for speeding in the 20+ years I have been driving. (btw I have receivered zero speeding tickets on our 06 mustang that has over 12,000 miles on it already and I put close to 50,000 miles a year on vehicals) I have deserved at least 1000 tickets over this time. (have spent thousands of $ on at least 12 radar detectors over these years) As radars have gotten better, detectors need to be upgraded) Here's my problem with this issue; The law is the law if you are speeding you are speeding whether there is a cop around or not! Bottom line is you were speeding and you were caught what exactly is the issue? (kind reminds me of the illegal minorities lately) What if there is no cops present, is there is NO speed limit then? WOW must be a nice world you live in! Back to speeding, if you'r going to speed your're going to get caught and when you do pay your fine and go on. Now you can change your driving habits (something I have elected NOT to do) or you can continue to receive tickets from time to time. Bottom line is this if you are going to speed you are going to get popped no matter what type of radar detector you carry. (I currently have 3 Escort 850 X50 in blue and our Mustang is also equiped with the escort ZR3 Laser shifter) Now some areas detectors are illlegal so the police have the upper hand. If you going to play you have to pay.....
NEXT!

The only thing i've seen is the posted speed limit signs with the digital readout, the light flashes before you pass it and we dont have license plates in the front, so i dont see the point in that...???
My understanding is that the roadside machines that flash your speed are actually there to log the average speed that drivers on that stretch of road travel at, for the purpose of deciding if the speed limit should change. Say everyone on that road travels at 45 mph and there are lots of accidents, they might decide to lower the speed limit.

tickets suck, they should have given you a break because
of your safe driving skills (hands at 10 & 2)!
