Actually no. It will not change the tune that is loaded. Disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes does set the learned short and long term memories back to 0. It is just as easy to go ahead and forget about disconnecting the battery and just reload the tune. That puts everything back to exactly what the tune is without question. Even though I have a manual, I reload my tune everytime I go to the track. My last run in Bowling Green Ky was a 13.4 with a 1.68 60 ft time on BFG Kdw2 street tires. It was a club event and they did little to no track prep, so I was pretty happy with that. If I reload, I have better throttle response.
