Sometimes it's important/better if a general is not known to be a general. :-)

as for the holes...........I WANTED the letters off but with the holes
THERE I had to come up with something........Fairlane, I LIKE the way
you did it and closed the holes but I didn't have the time (or resources
to do it or I WOULD have and kept it clean and 'badge free' [&:]

Your ride looks mean just the way it is; ...a head turner, I must say!!!
I wouldn't recommend doing the GT emblems unless the antenna was going too and then for economy of scale the decklid should be done at the same time ("mirror time" too). The doors and qtrs would need some professional attention (2500# lightly sand and rotary buff to match; if the OE clear is thick enough to rid the orange peel)
In my case there is no way I could have a GT emblem sitting in the midst of the flame paint work anyway. ...but I would have shaved all I did even w/o flames, partly because I could do the welding and body work myself and it's fun to put one's own effort into personalizing the car.

The Pony Package (V6) fog lights look very different from the GT's. The Pony Package ones are smaller and have chrome rims, that connect to a chrome 'corral' around the pony emblem on the grill. However, I do know that some V6 owners, mostly from 05 (since they didn't offer the Pony Package until 06) have installed GT grills with the fogs. Still, that's probably about as common as a GT owner taking off the GT badge, which I've also seen. But the Pony Package fogs are very different, very easy to spot, so I doubt they're what you're talking about.
