You have my sympathies. The techs at my dealer are really good, but I've read enough horror stories here to know how bad some can be. Even if they are willing to make good on the damage, how can you trust them? As a side question, why did they have to relace the IUP Aluminum Panel Pieces on your dash?

Yep trusting them at this point is the biggest issue. So i spoke to the GM of the dealer since when i called to speak with the owner he simply passed me off to the Service Manager who did nothing but apologize and try to say there was no way the tech did a burnout in my car and his reasoning for that was the tech is 40 Yrs old and married and has kids. Well needless to say I asked him WTF that had to do with anything. So i decided to call back and speak to the GM who i thought i was speaking to in the first place and it turned out to be the Service Manager. The GM knew nothing about anything and boy was he pissed off to hear my story. He then told me he would assign a Master Tech to my car and that the best Master Tech they had would be the ONLY one to work on my car from this point on. He also told me that if i decide i want the scratch in the door jamb fixed to let them know. They did fix the dash pretty dam good and you really have to look for it to see. I was in a car show today and actually told a few people and they could not find the repair which made me feel a little better.

As for why i had the IUP Aluminum replaced. The factory mistakenly installed the Charcoal Panels instead of the Brushed Aluminum.

OMG. reading your story, i am now mad as hell and my heart is beating fast just from reading it. i would **** UP whoever did that, get them not only fired but beat the **** out of them. not only ****ing you over and scratching the car, but ****ing going for a joyride? i call BS on that dealership.
