All shined up
Shard Phoenix I took your advice & tried detailing it myself. Keep in mind this is the first wax job that I’ve ever done so it may not be all that good. But I think I did a pretty good job for the first time. I used the famous McGuire’s wax that everyone talks about. It actually wasn’t as hard as I had always imagined it would be. I just turned up the tunes and went at it. It was pretty soothing, I think, to just take my time and ‘get my shine on’. ….okay, that was ghetto. Slap! No more jokes like that. Took some new pics, so what you think now? Better? Or should I now fire myself and hire someone else? |

RE: All shined up
Looks like you did a great job. IMO nothing looks better than a clean waxed black car. They are a pain to keep clean but worth the effort.

RE: All shined up
Looks great, my basic rule of thumb is if you can stand 1-2 feet away from your car and point your watch at it, and read the time through the paint of ur car then you did a good job :). Just make sure the car is dry, wax it in the shade, and buff it with a seperate microfiber cloth and it will always look like that

Thanks for all the complements. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out.
