Nice looking tires! Although, I haven't had good luck with goodyear tires. If their performance matched their looks i'd go back to 'em. Fulda's are a great alternative to the F1's.

Nice! But why not 255's? That's a little closer to stock diameter.
Either way, great choice! these tires are above and beyond any Ultra performance tire Goodyear has put out.
Its won 1st place in a few separate comparisons against other popular tires.
I hope you got the 100 cash card that is being offered with a set of F1's

And wtf are Fulda's? My entire life of being in the tire business I never ever heard of them

Looks nice, I would have went with 255-45-18s myself, but very nice.

Tires are always a strange endever. I have always had most luck with yokohama and michelin. Had a poor BFG experience years ago and goodyear and firestone/bridgestone never thrilled me.

But a few recent shockers.

The BFGs that are on the mustang stock with the 18"s are turning out to be actually pretty decent tires. I expected junk, they arent bad at all for an all season.

A couple years back I got a set of firestone SZ50-EP tires for another car based on the tire rack reviews and ratings as #1 and they have to be one of the best tires I have ever owned, period. Shame they killed the tire, but I think bridgestone has something similar.

I think that given the high marks that goodyear has been getting with these tires from tire rack, they are looking like a smart purchase.

I mean the michelin pilot sports are like 50 or so more a tire if I am correct. Thats not a little bit of money. Especially considering that the tire has been out since what now, 1994-1995. Drop the prices a bit already.

Here is a Car and Driver Tire test, was pretty interesting.
http://www.caranddriver.com/article....ticle_id=10252
But I can say this, expect the tires to become slippery sub 40 degree weather, even worse the colder it gets. Not meant for winter driving what so ever.
I have Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW3's for the winter time, tires so high rated in snow and ice you can llegally pass roads that require chains.

OVERALL SCORE

Goodyear: 1050.4
Continental: 1031.9
Yokohama: 1027.0
Michelin: 1018.7
Hankook: 1015.4
Dunlop: 1002.2
Pirelli: 1002.1
Toyo: 999.7
Bridgestone: 993.9
BFGoodrich: 993.0
Kumho: 990.7

Fulda is a German tire company. They have a model with a similar tread design as the F1's. I had them on my last stang. They were really nice tires!
