Jeez...I didn't mean he was retarded...if you read my post you'd see I was just trying to say it was his money, his choice, and his right regardless of what I or anyone else thinks about it...

I swear. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but I think ya'll missed the whole point.

And I still wanna know what an electric supercharger is

Some of you guys will remember me from a while back when my 2005GT blew up. No insurance hasn't paid off but we will win in the end. Found out some stuff I can't post becaue we are going to court with Safeco and FC Customs.

After a long search found a guy to build the car I really want. Should be here this Friday, just getting the finishing touches and leaving florida.
I changed a few things so it looks exactly like the one pictures except the center wheels are black but 5 flat spoke.

Check out all these guys do to the mustang. The car is painted to match the oine pictured. The parts aren't in production yet so this is number 2 on the list and all
the body parts had to be one offs from the molds pictures. Production wasn't until Aug. Before you see the price and say hell you could have bought a GT40 I HAVE ONE IN SPEED YELLOW AND HATE THE DAM THING. It rides rough no cup holders you have to open the doors 90 degrees to get out and the seats suck.

Will post pics and videos when it gets here.

John
I'm sure the GT40 really does suck, so let me know where I can pick it up because owning a car that sucks that bad has been my life long dream. I live in Illinois, let me know when you can drop it off.

Just for clarification the new Ford GT (the supercar is just a GT nothing else) is not a GT40 it is styled after the old GT40's but is only labled a GT. So by saying you have a GT40 indicates you have a 40 year old LeMans race car, what you have is a new Ford GT

Right, if it's not old, it's not a GT40 but a Ford GT. I would rather have the new one. It's street legal. A real GT40 would be a million or better..

GT40 was never a real name for the old cars. They were the Mark IV and Mark V. GT40 is a british term for the car.

I think the car is awesome and if i had 60K lying around i would have it done to mine, spoiler and all. The spoiler, unlike ricers, serves a purpose so i dont see the harm in having it, plus with an 800 HP car you will need all the downforce on the rear wheels that you can get so why not with a huge spoiler. CASE CLOSED.

This is a very good point, but since 99% of people call them GT40's and that is what was being refrenced in this thread I went with the common name.

I want to know what this electric supercharger is too. Not to mention, I don't see anything dramatically done to the motor of this thing. What is it that is providing 800HP to this thing? Sheesh, that seems like a stretch....

My thoughts exactly [&:] This is an aftermarket car, not an SVT built Cobra. I came in here expecting to see some guy claiming to have one of the first Shelby/Cobra's [:@]
