any problem areas that i need to be concerned with when purchasing a used 05/06 mustang? probably 05, but there are a few 06's around as well. Interior/Exterior applies.

If you don't drive it much, then when you start it up, it will have a lot of blue smoke comming out of the exhaust.
other than that it's a great car, a little undergeared IMO.

either private or dealer, there are a lot of them in my area, it would be the 6 cylinder.

there have been a few recalls on the cars that have been fixed in the mid-late 06 ones. the only one that i really know about is the gas tank problem

If there are several around you, drive as many as you can, look for low mileage, clean appearance, etc. I don't lnow of any major, or even minor concerns regarding problems.
Don't look for just an automatic, try the stick, and you'll love it. Drive a 6, and then drive the GT, b4 you make up your mind.

Not nitpicking here, but there have been ZERO recalls. There are all sorts of TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) though.

nothing major though i guess...i REALLY want one of these cars, and its time to replace the old one....wish me luck and ill post pics as soon as i bring one home!
