Thanks for the support Professor. Like I said I prefer my Mustang, but there have been days that my wife (who is a car nut as well) has wanted to take the Mustang, and I have taken her car, and although I miss the straight line acceleration of the mustang on those days, her car in by no means a slouch, and it is a absolute blase to drive because of how it handles and like I said 170 HP in a car that size feels pretty peppy. Also being an SVT we get all of the same perks and offers from Ford that Cobra & Lightning owners do, such as being offered (unfortunately I am not independently wealthy) first dibs on a 2007 Shelby when they are available.

Congrats!! It's a great feeling when you get that bit of recognition for a lot of hard work. My personal best has been second place in this car. I am more performance focused right now so I was actually surprised by that. I can only guess one of the judges was more of a gearhead than a clean freak...LOL

I love car show season it's so addictive. My other "show" car is 2 for 2 so far. Next week I am going to take my stang to a show! Yippy!
I do take my Mustang to cruise nights and I love the reaction from people. They have to do a double take cause they can't tell if it's a V-8 or a V-6 (even though I have a 4.0 and a v-6 emblem on the back) LOL

I just want to know why this thing is entered into a car show.
And even though it is in the show, why is it by a stang? That thing doesn't deserve to be within a mile of a stang.

Professor, I know you were there and saw it in person but you probably didn't pay it much attention Are you sure it was an SVT [&:] That sure looks like a Saleen banner on the windshield and Saleen lower stripes on the door/front fender area.

Ummmm.. Er.... Uh Oh... I'm busted! But, I am willing to admit when I am incorrect!

Honestly, now that you bring it up.. I'm not sure... but it wasn't your common ordinary cheapo Ford.. THAT I know. I didn't pay that close attention to it! I would have if there were several, but since there was only the one - - and right across from it were the 70's cougars, which got a LOT more of my attention. That particular car is actually a bit of a haze!

BUT - - - now that you mention it... I went back and pulled it out of the photo.. and I do believe your are correct!

These are the Cougars that were right across from it!
