You could try to put it in the passanger side windshield. Works for me in New York. It's strange though, most American cars don't require the front plate i.e. Vette and Cadillac....whynot the Stang?

I live in New Hampshire where a front plate is mandatory.. It sucks!!! i dont have one on so i got pulled over like 2 months ago for not having one... I just played stupid and pretended it was stolen or something.. I got away with it!! It is so stupid tho! Its a 150 dollar fine here.. Duno how it is elsewhere......

my car is reg in texas which require front "display".. but the regulation doesnt say must be mounted on the front bumper.statue 502.404 i wanna say is the law. i have a copy in the car to show them if they say anything to me. some times the DOD cops try to be dicks about it...

Very common in thw US. Mass is real serious about it; the only good thing here is the older green letter plates are still ok to xfer from vehicle to vehicle (same person registering); There is only one green plate; two on the newer red ones. Fortunately I've got two green ones; one on the GT and one on my 2000 Galant (that one will go nicely on a Hemi Challenger).
