Havent done it on the mustang, but centerforce makes a pretty nice clutch thats easy to live with. But I would reccomend at least lightly machining the flywheel to ensure a good break in and no chatter.

im thinking of upgrading mine. i talked to the spec clutch rep at wfc. they make 6 or so stages depending on the torque rating you want. and you can go lightweight with aluminum flywheel and aluminim pressure plate and other light weight options. worth looking at. http://specclutch.com

Until I swapped to a 4 speed AOD I used a Clutchmaster stage 4 and LOVED it. The stock flywheel is fine IMHO but if you ever fortify your motor and go with a forged crank, you'll need to get an 8 bolt flywheel and that's the time to do it IMO.
