Tires that hookup?

Musiccity, that is a great 60' time. What do you think the most important suspension mod for traction is? I have a boatload of wheel hop on my stock Pirellis half way through first gear (about the same time the boost gauge is +). I was thinking about the BFGs after I waste these tires.

I think it was a combination of everything as all of them helped and that was after all the mods and then the tires. I did full race lower LCA's and panhard, a Steeda 3rd link, and Steeda 3 point torque box braces. The 3rd link and torque box braces went in at the same time and made a BIG difference. I was pulling better 60' times than people with slicks. They were like WTF![8D]

The Toyo Proxes S/T is what I removed and put on the KDW2's. The KDW's are much better in the traction action dept. AA traction rating. They are more expensive. My 18/245/45's were 145 each. I have the Toyos still sitting in the garage.

I wasn't knocking the Proxes, they are definately good tires. They did great till I got the H/P bumped quite a bit! I was looking for the closest thing to a D/R that would still work as an everyday tire.

i notice the KDW 2s really do hook up well. might have to go summer and winter tires on different rims. but the kdws dont come in OE size. recommend a better suited size than the 235/55r17?
