Great point! With the Muscle cars comming back the guys that have been looking up to the high performance euro cars like BMW's are starting to get their panties all tangled up because they know VERY well that in just a few years there will be 10 slightly modded GTO's GT500's Hemi Chargers Hemi Challengers, Mustang GT's LS2/LS7 Camaro's for every 1 BMW. That simply means that for every 1 M6 you see(if you ever actually see one they are so WAY expensive) there will MANY MANY backyard modified modern muscle cars that will simply CREAM them! LOL!!!!.......and for a fraction of the cost .....LOL!!!! The good ole days are commin back.

You could say that the performance of the GT500 is disappointing, but it is a 500hp reliable car. If you want to win every race, buy a Fox roller and put 44 grand into it. I guarentee, then you can beat your vette and beamer. You wont be able to do anything else though. Thats because it would be a track car. Different class then what could be a DD car. Same goes for the Vette, they are in a different class. So the Vette can outperform it. Well, i want to be able to put 3 other people in my car. Can a Vette do that? I want to have a car that I wont see 10 of driving around every time i go out. There is a reason why peope buy the cars they do. You just dont think about it before you go bashing them. Yes, Ford could have built a better GT500, but they have things to think about, like price. They didnt want to add another 5k to the price just so that it could beat a car that it is not even competing with.
