Shelby Alarm

Shelby Alarm
I just got my first Mustang 2 days ago, and I'm looking to add the AVIC-Z1 navigation system to it. I'll do that install myself as it seems fairly straight forward after reading all I could about it. Before I do that though... or at the same time... I would like to install an alarm. I was looking at one of the Shelby systems (CS-750R or CS-450R) but was wondering how easy they were to install, and it you have to go all the way or not. Mostly I was looking at the Shelby since its available from the same place I'll get the Nav system so I can save on shipping and time.
What I mean by that is I may want the remote start feature, and the starter disable and such, but at the moment I'm 2,500 miles from home and just want it to make noise if some tries to get inside, along with being able to unlock the doors and trunk with the one remote. Is it possible to do a quick simple install until I get home and the time/tools to do it nice in a little over a month? Or does everything need to be connected for it to even function? Until then I'm basically living out of a hotel so I don't have the best tools and working environment
Thanks
