Default Drag suspension setup

I am really wanting to be able to hook better and get my 60' times better. I heard that suspension can make or break you in the 1/4 mile.

So my question to you guys is what should I go with first? I will have to buy one part at a time due to me being low on money. (In college)

Thanks!!

Lower control arms, and lower control arm relocation brackets would be the first thing I would do. You want the LCAs to control wheel hop, and you want the relocation brackets to help the weight transfer when the car accelerates. Those two things would be the cheapest things to start with. There are plenty of other things to look at, but personally I would ( and did ) start there. Next, would be drag shocks, and probably coil overs.

where can I find the control arms. Is the relocation kit a must if I upgrade or can I do that later also?

www.bmrfabrication.com makes the most widely used ones IMO. tires will make more diff in your 60' than those though. what college ya go to?

I was going to go there last Friday with RoyB and some others but didn't get out of work in time to make it worth the trip. I am going to get down there, just not sure when. I am spending most of the year up in Boston on business ( yuck... )

Adjustable LCAs are used if you lower your car. If you haven't lowered it (and aren't planning on it) then get the standard non-adjustable ones.
