I've seen this but don't have it. I can see the concept of the shorter pipe but not sure how being that close to the engine would affect performance. Most other intakes are further away to draw in cooler air.

I have seen it as well. But it did seem kind of pricey.

I have seen it and i dont like the fact that the hood closes right on the top of the thing. You can actually see the imprint of the filter on the hood liner. I am not impressed.

That looks like the same setup I had on my Camaro SS, for the ram air intake. It worked real good, and I never had any problems with hood clearance, Yes, I know the hoods are different but it didn't bother it at all. Plus in my opinion being located right up front like that it's probably the coldest air that you can find in the engine compartment.

As i recall there was a site that a very comprehensive review of numerous intakes and that one received a fairly low score.
