I knoe I'm in the minority here but i've had zero problems w/ my shaker 500 head unit. I play cd's and mp3's with no issues so far. I've swapped out all my 4x6 for infinity's and added an MTX thunderform sub in the trunk and it's sounds awesome!

We are in a very small minority. I test drove a tan interior GT with Shaker 500; then a V6 with std radio. No MP3 capability but the sound to me was a bit less on bass but overall sound quality/clarity same or possibly better. You still get the cool speed sensitive volume and yes the nicest looking door panels around. I have tan interior, all tan door panel (no upgrade that gives you charcoal inserts) Check out this pic of what speaker looks like on tan int. No way I could have that. Congrats... and yeah still have visions of your powerbrake burnout.

haha

But yeah, i dont even have to compare it to other sound systems to know its low on the bass part lol, i mostly just listen to the news or talk while driving so bass isnt really important lol
