hey guys, i wanted to know if anyone has or has used the roush hood scoop for '05's and '06's. Im thinking of getitng one and wanted to know how it looks, if the 3m tape application works well, and just if u liked it. anything will be a great help.

My 05 Roush Sport GT vert has the hood scoop and the vinyl Roush stripes and I would NOT recommend both together. The hood scoop rubs on the stripes and makes the edges "roll up" is the only way to describe it. I dont have up close pics, but its not horribly noticeable, but on my list of mods is definitely a new hood. If you just did the scoop though itd probly be cool, it stays on and looks pretty good. Here's the only real pic I have of the front of my car.

Looks like I thought it would. What does the scoop have in the opening? Is that part black? It's kinda hard to make it out in the pic.

I'm going with a set of Boss stripes that run along the edges of the hump in the hood and down over the fender. They shouldn't be affected as you described so I should be okay.

Yeah its just like a peice of black matte finish plastic in there with no gaps or anything. The fit looks pretty professional, its just these darn vinyl stripes [&:]
