Most here will say C&L for the intake itself.

Most will say the SCT or Diablo for the tuner.

As far as the tune itself, nothing beats a custome tune...canned tunes just can't keep up with a custom tune.

No kidding, this is the most revisted thread I have seen. Perhaps the search could be made more visible at the top of the forums and perhaps a note to new members to search the forum before posting. This question is getting out of hand!

Simply getting a tuner by itself will give you increased HP no matter what octane youre running. And if you get a CAI and a tuner you will definately see significant improvement. I doubt there is all that much difference between the octanes, maybe a few hp or so but I run 93 simply because its a better quality. But if you feel you want to run 87 theres nothing wrong with that (to each his own) and its certainly not a reason to stay with a stock intake. Even if you decide to styick with 87 octane, youll see a good improvement with a tuner and CAI. If you have any detailed questions give Brent at www.Brenspeed.com a call, hes awesome and will take the time out to explain things to you.
