You are right, the axis' are different. I didn't catch it. I can't argue with the equasion, or where the curves cross. I did find a couple more examples of this, but I question the dyno in both. I'll post em if you want to see em.

You lose low end torque...I have straight pipes and magnaflows i bought the magnaflows then for fun i had straight pipes made for my car just to play around with and **** people off i had less torque with the striaght pipes and not much of a change in horsepower

Simply put again. Below 5252 rpm, it is impossible for any piston internal combustion engine, to make more HP than torque at a given RPM. Above 5252 RPM, it is impossible to make more torque than HP. And at exactly 5252 RPM, the curves should cross as HP=torque. That goes from the weed wacker engine in the prius, to a 5K HP top fuel dragster.

If any dyno graph shows differently, it is dyno or operator error. Dynos are not perfect. But I bet one good test of the accuracy of one is that the HP and torque should cross at 5252

I have read the entire thread and now I am confused as hell...

I just want some bolt on exhausts that won't cause me to lose any HP or torque.

I want to go with SLP loudmouths...is that the move to make or should I go with something else (please specify).

OR should I just get a prius with 295,394,938 foot pounds of nuclear powered torque?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!! PRIUS!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
