Default 89 mustang won't go into gear
[>:] plenty of fluid, pump is working just fine, can't find a blockage........it's an automtic, just bought it, but it will only go into park. I can't get it to go into any gear....any ideas

Only goes in park. Need more info. Does it shift into the other gears but not move, like always in nuetral? Checked your pump pressure how? With a guage? Torque coverter come apart? Valve body ok?
