What strut tower brace is that and do you hhave any issues at all with it hitting the plenum cover? Can you supply a link to where you got it.

Its made by SMR. Here is the link. No problems with clearance of the plenum cover.

Drive shaft loop? No, I don't have one. Maybe you are seeing the Steeda 3 point torque box braces??
