6 X 9 Speakers

Has anyone cut their rear deck to make a 6x9 fit?

I want to get infinity speakers but i want 3-way speakers.

the only 3-way infinity speakers are in 6x9 size.

Just go with a different brand of 6 X 8s. I installed four of these and they sound great.

Sorry, I failed to notice that you're looking for 3-way speakers. But anyway the Kenwoods do sound great.

3way coaxes are really only a marketing ploy, so I would not see hacking the car as worth it.

Yeah neither do I. I don't see it as worth it at all. There would be little to no improvement over a 2 way 6x8 in the rear deck.

hey chiefsfan,
any probs with those kenwoods fitting in the front panels? i just ordered 2 sets and was a little worried since crutchfield only lists them as fitting the rear panel for our stangs.

I'll second the Kenwood speakers. I have all Kenwoods in my Honda and I LOVE them.

dont bother with the 3 way, if you really want good sound just get some components for the front
