The guy from Saleen called and I ordered it today. He told me it should ship mid next week and take just a few days to get here......The guy was awesome and answered all my questions. They are claiming 475RWHP, I asked if that was too much but he said they have a car with 20k miles running that configuration and Saleen has been working with these cars for awhile so I am pretty sure I can trust them. I can't wait, will update when it gets here and put it in.

Hey Matto are you gonna do the install yourself? How are they going to handle programming the cpu? I wonder if it possible to send them my SCT tuner, have them load it and send it back?

I am installing it myself. They are providing for next day shipping back and forth and I have to send them my PCM. No, you cannot send a programmer for them to load. I will be without my car for 3 days....1 day there, 1 day to program, and 1 day back. Oh well, it will probably take 2 days to install anyway.

I have been debating about getting the upgrade kit. I know it includes 39 lb. injectors, pulley, 98mm mass air / air cleaner top, and air inlet tube. Do you know the pully size and/or boost level? Any other info would be appreciated. Best of luck with your install.

If you could trust anyone to get this engine to that level it'd be Saleen imo. I'm still a skeptic but super jealous at the same time. Congrats!

That sounds a little high unless they are really pushing the boost, and I doubt they are.

I'm at 373 at the wheels with 4psi boost (automatic transmission)

Hawgman was at 401 at the wheels with 4psi boost (manual) and now he's putting down 443 with 8psi boost.

I think they may be quoting you crank HP and not RWHP because allowing 15% loss for the drivetrain, you would get 403 at the wheels with 475 at the crank.

One thing, you need some "0" cooler plugs and be sure to gap your plugs at 0.035" to prevent high rpm blowout!!!

I got the 10psi upgrade kit with 39lb injectors and other small modifications....it is 475 to the wheels. I actually asked if there was something in between because I am a little worried about that much hp. Saleen assured me it was safe so I am taking their word for it. Thanks for the info on the plugs though...I will remember that for sure

I have a Saleen 3 valve but I upgraded to a vortech system.

I was told that 450Hp to the wheels was best for the stock engine internals.

Please dyno it I would love to up the boost if its safe.
