Mfg PROBLEM: CDC Agressive ChinSpoiler (You have?)
A couple of weeks ago I saw a thread or two out here about folks who have or who have seen the lower opening, bottom surface warping pretty bad. At the time I looked at mine and didn't see any problem. Friday night I was washing the car and OMG!!!!! Warping!!! Out of no where... car is garaged most of the time.. heat of the summer?? not that hot here in MA yet. So what do you do? All fitted, painted and now looks like sh__. I can see that this lower shelf surface should have been much thicker or have a corrugated, say 3/8 thick form. Either way I think you're gonna see 90% plus do this. Can you tell me if you have this problem?
(I do have a fix for this but I am not happy about having to spend the time to correct this problem that is clearly a mfg flaw. I want a new one, correctly designed or my money back. I did install on a separate spare bumper cover but I didn't get that for free and now it's cut for the CDC Agresssive. CDC may not know it yet (they must though) but they are going to have to take care of their customers on this one. Man.....O... Man.... UGH!!!! Please let me know if you have seen this yet; took a couple months for it to show up on mine but I know other folks have seen it too.

RE: Mfg PROBLEM: CDC Agressive ChinSpoiler (You have?)
Hi Fairlane,
I did not get the Agressive spoiler because I did not want to cut the bumper cover. There at least 2 Mustangs with the Agressive CDC on our cuise circuit here onLI that have this problem. One is a Veutiful GTH tribute car. He's had the problem for quite a while and has "fixed it" a few times, but it seems to keep recurring.
I agree with you, this is domething that CDC needs to be informed about. I don't know if there is a warranty with these spoilers. CDC is a good company, if nothing else, having the feedback will allow them to redesign the product and improve it for future customers. Hopefully, they'll do right by their existing customers also.

Thanks. I do have a fix but you need to be a bit of a craftsman, sculpturer to do it; and you need to remove the bumper AGAIN to really do it right. Anyone with the problem can let me know, I'll explain in detail. Still CDC needs to make this right; my fix may not hold up for 20 years.

fairlane292,
It's probably just a matter of time before mine does the same thing. I've been trying to find a grill insert for the "agressive chin" not only to protect my intercooler but to keep the shape of the chin.
So far I haven't found any online distributors that carry CDC's dimensions. I wish CDC would come up with something...

Yup, I hear ya. No doubt they will redesign. Thing is it took about 6 weeks to occur, don't know how much worse it would get. (I have applied my fix. It can't distort now. ...but I want some resolution anyhow; like a new redesigned one!)
