Yea. I think I was one of the first to order right AFTER they went on backorder. [:@] I was also the one who made the post about them telling me they weren't going to be the same now that DOT made them change things. I'm REALLY close to ordering them from Jegs and being done with it.

I also heard that the design was a little bit different between Jegs and MCD.

Well, I finally got PO'd and canceled my order from MCD (original order date 5/6/2006 and STILL no estimated time of arrival) and ordered them from Jeg's.. According to Jegs they will be here on Friday.

Now to go order some bulbs.

I see many of you have clear lenses installed, looks great but does anyone have the black lenses installed? I have a black GT and am wondering if I should go clear or blackout. Thoughts?

IMO, clear in the front, blacked out in the back. Thats what Id do if I had black anyways.. but dont listen to anything said on this page because its all changed since we posted this lol... Prices, shipping, stocks.. its all different now.

If you want them clear, get them from www.stangmods.com or ebay. Jegs clears now have a amber reflector, and if you look at mlc's sig, you can barely see it from that angle.

I think its because theyre not in production yet.. what you might consider is getting the clear ones, then just tinting them with some tail light vynil tint...

I'm worried the clear is too much contrast for a black stang... I haven't seen any pictures of the black on black. One thing is for certain the amber lenses STINK !!!
