Time to change this sections title...
to:
2005-2007 Mustangs.
I know in the past week or two people who ordered their
2007 Mustangs have been taking delivery.
But as of about 3 weeks ago, as some of you may know
I was told by 3 different dealerships in the Los Angeles area
including Galpin Ford, the LARGEST Ford dealership in the country
that the 2007 Mustangs wouldn't start rolling into dealerships until
late August.
Well, again, I knew a few people here took delivery of their 2007's
in the past couple weeks, but all ordered under the X-Plan as far as I knew.
So, today, just out of curiousity sake I went to Galpin Ford's website and searched
for 2007 Mustang GT's.
They list having 41 of them in stock already.
Power Ford in Santa Clarita has like 8.
So much for trusting dealerships once again. They obviously all said late
August in the hopes I wouldn't wait for the 2007's that long and just
buy a 2006.
If I don't have to go to North Carolina on a job for 3 months looks like
I'll be picking up my 2007 MGT very soon.

RE: Time to change this sections title...
Saw three '07's today on dealer lots. One of them was a GT convertible manual in the new dark gray with a black cloth top. It also had the Sirius satellite radio option.
They left it unlocked outside on the lot next to the showroom. I sat in it for a few minutes, then locked it when I left.

All of us 2006 owners are really starting to feel the love. You just have to admire how the 2005 and 2007 owners conveniently left us out of the new name! [8D]

LOL, nobody has forgotten you 06 owners. There is a hyphen there.
You are sandwiched between the 2005-2007.
Think of it this way, since cars are referred to a "women" you
2006 owners would be getting the love from both sides.

My vote is to change it to 2005+ Mustang. Of course I'm a little biased since I bought mine in early 2005. But also this means it wouldn't have to be changed again in 2008 and 2009 and 2010, you get the point.

Yes, I also like 2005+ Mustangs, but
once the 2009's come out, there will have to be a new
section since the 2009's are getting a remodel (and
my guess a new engine...but that's another story).
