I have O/R X-pipe with no cats with JBA exhaust. I'm wanting to switch to a deeper sounding exhaust, the JBA's mufflers are starting to rust (the tips are fine). I know most of the exhaust have drone and most are going to sound raspy due to my X-pipe but I'm wanting something deeper sounding. I like the corsas but at $650.00??[][] Your opinions are welcomed.....Thx

Yeah, those slp would be really loud if that's what your looking for. They're really just a flared pipe anyway. From hearing the following all in person: Flowmaster, Borla, Magnaflow, SLP, JBA, Corsa, I think you'd be happy with Magnaflow, they're deep and smooth

I wouldn't go with the SLP LMs, I heard them for the first time a few days ago and they are absolutely obnoxious. Especially since you've already removed your cats you'd be inviting a ticket from every officer in a 4 county radius. Check out the Corsas or Borla Stingers. If you search enough I'm sure you can find a sound clip of Borlas without cats, there's a bazillion sound clips posted of the Borlas.

From what I've read chambered mufflers do not sound good with an O/R X-pipe are the Magnaflows chambered?

Bassani, they sound amazing with my bassani X pipe, i dunno how they will will sound with your X pipe depending on what brand, but atleast there both X's so it shouldnt be to different

SLP POWERFLO. DEEP, but without the obnoxious rasp of the LM system. sound good with x pipe. try to avoid chambered mufflers, although from experience, flowmasters sound really good with the o/r x. good luck.

I concur. I have the Bassani SS Race mufflers w/ an O/R X-pipe and they sound amazing. It's a nice, rich, deep tone. Not just a booming/popping sound like you get with the SLPs. Also they're stainless, so no rust. At about $500 they're not the cheapest mufflers on the internet, but they won't break the bank either.
