Default Autometer wideband A/F meter Cobalt

I'm in serious need of the new Autometer 6178 Cobalt A/F meter. Summit keeps pushing their arrival date and I called Jegs today and they are saying 10 August now. Does anyone know if they are out yet and who may have them?
Thanks!

i dont think there out yet, if you need one badly just get one of their other lines, and when the other one is finally in, sell the old one.

That would work except that I already have over $500 in these cobalts and my wife is starting to eagle-eye my purchases something fierce...something about having $39k in this car and twins in the oven and cribs and such to buy. I think i could only put out $400 for a gauge like this once!
I finally gave in and took my car to the Ford dealer and they confirmed my guess, I am running too rich (codes 0172 & 0175). They said that working on my supercharged engine was "beyond their abilities" and gave me a number of some guy that specializes in Mustangs. Anyone heard of Harris Racing around the Charlotte area?

At least running rich keeps my pistons happy...compared to the other end of the spectrum!

true better rich than lean, get that car and a dyno and corrected asap. Call autometer and speak to a rep see if they can do anything for you.

Had one on order from Jeg's since like March... or was it February? It's been so long I don't even recall. I'm about to give up on this, cancel my order and find another wide band AFR setup. [:'(]

OK, I just called Autometer. The tech girl said that it is September now. The engineers "are not happy with it" yet.
UGGGG....

These A/f gauges were widly available when I purchased on backin 2001-2002.They did not accurately give you the actual air fuel mixture(only a reasonably close approximation.)Lots of people bought them because they look real cool(if they were AutometerThe problem is that the air fuel mixture is dependant on several parameters.the sensors for these are contigent on the sensor placements. The actuaul A/F mixture ,is not reflected accuratly. One example is the actual exhaust temp. must be taken. There are many air /fuel gauges ,but the Autometer,is nice looking but not real useful. If they have improved it recently, then disregard what I have said. The one I am referring to had been on sale 5 years ago.Hopefully thing have improved since then.
