Six Speed tanny

what would be the positives and negatives to getting a six speed tranny put in a GT????

Post this question in the Saleen forum. There are a few over there with 6-speed trannys.

I can't think of any negatives with adding another gear. It never hurt going from 4 to 5 many years ago. It would just be another thing that makes the car a bit more modern.
