RE: More "old school" mods
The guy who runs the paint shop where i work has a 69' (i think, not sure on the year) Mach 1. I noticed the Mustang accross the trunk and loved it...i have been wondering where to get the letters for that and how it would look...thanks!!! also, did they say Ford on the hood? wonder how that would look? but either way, your car looks awesome man!

your car is incredibly old school. and badass. i think its the best i've seen in terms of "retro." good job, i love it. those taillight bezels somehow look good on ur car; i always thought they were kind of tacky. maybe its the color of the car.

RE: More "old school" mods
I originally was going to go with the Legend Lime when I first set out to acquire my GT. Then I decided on a GT vert and I just didn't like the look of the Lime with the top up. Anyway, your ride is first class! The Hurst emblem on the rear is def old school..."For an Olds" LOL. really it does look tough. I laughed at your comment concerning redneck wiring. I've heard of a tennessee gasoline credit card (aka one plastic milk jug and 6 feet of old garden hose) but never redneck engineering. LOL I think the application of the "Mustang" lettering on the trunk deck is also a great idea. BTW I also have installed the stainless tail light bezels. I also went with the plastic honeycomb panel for the trunk deck between the tailights. It completes the legacy from the 70 Mach to the 06 GT. Again..You have one sweet ride!

I also am a fan of old school on these. I haven't decided if I'll go with the 'MUSTANG' on the trunk lid yet, but here are my mods thus far. No real mods on the inside yet, still piecing my ideas together.

Ohhh.. I like the look of that red strip against the black.
I am obviously blending Old thinking with new materials.
Here is how I treated my trunk lid.
