Default Removing the dealer sticker?

This has probably been asked a thousand times, but what's the easiest way to remove the butt ugly dealer stick from the trunk? If I hadn't of had to drive so far to get the car i'd of had them remove it. For $25k I should have to advertise for them.

I used my fingernail and it pulled right off. Afterwards use wax.

Take a hair dryer and warm it up first, will help keep it from breaking while you peal it off and will help pre-release or soften the glue.

+1 you can then stick and unstick the sticky side of the sticker to get the rest of the glue off the paint.... I know it sounds weird but that's how we got my wifes dealer sticker off the trunk of the Escape.

Mine peeled right off and then I used a little adhesive solvent to clean up the residue. I forget what brand the solvent. Maybe "Oops".

Thanks! Now why didn't I think of that?

I don't ever think of the hairdryer trick because I live in Phoenix... it's already an oven here... [8D]

Yes, heat up with hair dryer and then using fishing line to 'cut' through the sticky glue. Start at one end and with a sawing motion work your way across the sticket. Works best if you wear some leather gloves and wrap the line around your hands a few times to prevent it from slipping. This is assuming you have a dealer badge as opposed to an actual 2 dimensional sticker.
