19 x 8.5" Fronts and 19 x 10" Rears on a 2005 Mustang GT??
Would this configuration look weird on a 2005 Ford Mustang GT? rims 19 x 8.5" Fronts and 19 x 10" Rears tires 245/35 Front & 275/35-19 Rear I really hate the stock, big gap in the rear tire wells as they are now. Everything is still stock on the car. Thanks! |

That configuration will work but you will want to lower the car to close the gap in the wheel wells.

Will the gap be even bigger after the change than what the stock gap is now on front and back? I really don't want the rear of the car to be too high. I might get the rims/tires at a good price from a friend.
Thanks Richard. |

It may increase somewhat but it is more visual than anything else due to the low profile tires. Here is a link to my car with some before and after pics.

Here's a pic of the tires/rims.. the ones on the outside are the smaller rims.
The link you noted doesn't really say that the front rims are smaller than the rear unless I missed it somewhere. So the car does have smaller fronts, larger rears rims as I plan to do? I'm always opened to new mustang forum links!! |

Yeah sorry i am running 20x8.5 up front with 20x10 out back.
That's a nice looking tire and wheel setup. Richard |

yes they are SSRs. They have some of the nicest rims I've seen. Yet the dumb company is going out of business, but yet coming back supposedly.
I know you lowered your car yourself, but what's your questimate on how much a shop would probably charge to do the same? Any shop you can recommend in Berkeley, Oakland, SF? Thanks again! |
