Quarts of oil
Im doing the 1st oil change on my 06' GT today- I have misplaced the manual, anyone know how many quarts of oil it takes????

The manual says 6 quarts.

It will most likley hold 6-6.5 fill with 6 start get oil pressure then check dipstick. I know my truck say 6 but it takes 6.5 to get it in the mark on the dipstick and most of the fords i have seen seem to be this way.

6.5 to top of full mark with filter

I fill the filter before I put it on, and I also put 6 full quarts in the filler. So I guess I use about 6.5 quarts.

Mine goes to the top of full at 6qts, but it has to sit and let the oil compleetly drain back into the pan which takes a while suprisingly.
