Getting New Rims Need Opinions *Pics*
Well I'm in the market for new rims.
The rims I like are Volk GT-C's 20x9.5 and 20x10.5
I'm trying to decided between gunmetal or silver.
I photochopped some examples.
Tell me what you guys think .
Gunmetal Volk Gt-C's
Silver Volk GT-C's
Original Saleen's

You Wanna put VOLKS ON AN AMERICAN CAR????
I Love VOLK Rims but I dont think I would never put em on a mustang (used to have 17" Volk TE-37 on my Prelude).... JMO
Check out IFORGED Rims... About The same Price as VOLKS but you can custom order them in any Offset, width, color, etc... Yeah they are expensive but worth it...
http://www.iforged.com
and here is the showroom

They are about the Best American Rims you can buy...
... anyway I like the Gunmetal Look...

Volks are awesome wheels for all kinds of cars.....very high quality.
If you do the GTC's, do them in silver. Make sure you get a high enough offset though, what most places stock is a 22 to 28mm ofset for 350z's and G35 coupes and it WILL NOT w0ork on our cars, it will stick out of the fender well a tone. You will need about a 30-35mm up front and 35mm out back

Well, if you gotta replace the originals, I'd go with the silver. But, I'd also prefer that you stick with the originals over either of the other two. I think the Saleen did a good job with their wheels. They just fit the body kit so well.

It was really close but I voted silver. IMO volks for as good as they are they don't seem right on a mustang. But they are light and strong and thats what matters. At least they will go better with a saleen than a regualar GT. Personally I like these wheels but at 7-8k I could have a blower installed for that kinda $. Time to hold some bunnies hostage for ramsom.

I think they look awsome! The 5 spoke design is perfect for the mustang and plus it's thick to match the stang's body. The intricate details in the wheel spokes add to the design of the saleen kit. With a good tint, the gunmetal wheels would look hot with your car. I say go for it.

Excellent! For the photochop and for the selection. I have to say the gunmetal looks the best though. The silver doesn't have enough character for the Saleen.
teksp0rt... iForged is hardly the same price. ~$1000 each for 20s. Add 300 for HRE.
Cain... You're not giving it enough offset. You want a 40mm offset on 9.5s and 50mm on 10.5s. The closest the GT-Cs come is 43 for both, so the rear will probably stick out a bit. I would suggest 9.5 all around for an 8.5/9.5 stagger.
To the ethnocentrics... the Japanese make some of the highest quality wheels with the most selection of sizes and offsets and colors of all the manufacturers the world over. They are surpassed only by the made-to-order houses of the iForged, HRE, DPE, etc, which sell for 2-3 times more.
