As was said before this was a known problem and ford did put out a T.S.B on it and the fix was to swap out the gas tank so if you encounter the problem you can take it to your dealer and let them fix it for you or find a pump that works and stick with it some people also turn the nosle to 3 o'clock or upside down and have luck doing it that way.

Yes, I had....and still have......this problem with my 05. The given fix for it was replacing the fuel tank........I'm NOT letting ANY dealership handle that job. My fix was easy and cost me no grief or extra cash. I just turn the gas nozzle 90 degrees counterclockwise after inserting and fill'er up. Works at every pump I've tried it on.

Stone..that is one of the finest setups I have ever seen on a Mustang. What make are the wheels and are they considered deep dish? Really, your ride is amazing. Great job.

yea, i have this problem too but i used to own a jeep - and there is no fixing those. hahahha, so i work around it. You learn to be very patient at the pump when you own a Jeep.

would be nice to have it fixed though

Cindy, how about you do all of us who are having the same problem a favor?? Can you call your dealer and find out what "adjustment" they made? The dealers here have no idea what to do to fix mine. So if you could tell me the name of the dealer and how they fixed your car I could let my dealer here know, then maybe they could actually fix mine. Thanks.

Silver05GT1... Yes, I will try to get this information for you on Monday. Then I will post what they tell me they did, or get you the telephone number to the Ford dealer here in town and you can call them. Have a great weekend!

Well thanks always nice to hear someone else enjoys the look, sure wish I could get my ducktail and a hood and then I think I would be even more pleased

I got them off the web and I don't belive there made anymore, as far as deapdish I am not sure what qualifies as deepdish so I can't say but they are deap enough for me.

Yeah, that TSB only applies to 05's and some 06's. THe later 06's got the newer tank. The fix for the new 06's is to use a different gas station. Yes, the TSB actually says that LOL.
