Those who are saying it's a "ricey" hood should know it came from the 2000 Cobra R. It looked good on those style stangs, but I don't know about these.

I dont remember the 2000 Cobra R sporting gils? could just be me but i really dont remember. As far as this hood though I dont think it would look good unless you had some window louver with a similar affect on the sides and rear.

The 2000 Cobra R def had "gills" as they are being called. Its not a hood I'm going to put on my car but I'm not going to call it ricey. Maybe "Boy-racer" which is one step from rice.

I'm not a fan at all, I don't care what car it came off of I think it's oogaly. I agree with the ricey look on that one, again I don't care what car it's been on thats how what I think about it.

It's probably all the slices in the hood it looks really cheap IMO. Maybe it looks a little better on the car and painted? I also feel that maybe because there are so many nicer looking hoods than this one, makes me feelthe way I do about this one.

I dislike any hood with fake design elements that are disfunctional. Why go through the trouble of designing gills that don't even work. I call that flash trash. The point of having a vented hood is to let hot air out and relieve under hood pressure. If the hood is supposed to look like it does that, and can't because it is only there to look flashy, it is not even a candidate for consideration in my book. When I buy a Mustang Mod, it BETTER do something other than SIT there and look pretty.
