Default Hood Scoops

I have a yellow 05 GT and want to get the black stripes and a hood scoop but am unsure about weather or not to put the stripes on over the scoop or under it. Any opinions or pics are welcome!

Here's a pic of a Roush scoop and stripes on P-White. It doesn't cover the scoop as you can see in the photo.

Happy hunting....

I have a 3D Carbon Scoop on my car but no stripes. If I was to stripe it I would definately go over the scoop.

My only advice is that if you're going with vinyl stripes, definitely don't put them under the hood scoop. My roush sport came that way and the stripes are just barely rubbing up at the edges with the vibration of the scoop. Good luck with your mods!

I would stripe underneath scoop and paint your scoop entirely the color of your stripes. This will make your scoop imo stand out nicely.

I'm kinda stuggling with this question too. I wonder if adding a racing stripe to my ride would be too much black. Just dunno. Alright, just call me the Shell Answer Man.

Personally, if it is not functional, I wouldn't bother. But if you insist on doing so, put them on the scoop not under.
