Gee man, tell me they didn't tape that sh$t on!!!! If you have money for a Cobra, you should have enough to get them painted.....
Having said that, it's exactly what I want. My turn might come in September.[sm=Awwww.gif]

Thats right, they finally got theirs. It came in solid red, and is alreay sold. The customer wanted white stripes though, so the dealership was putting them on when i got there...pretty sweet.

I haven't been following the GT500 too much because I don't want to spend that kind of money on a mustang.
I wasn't aware that the stripes were stickers... I thought they were factory painted... are they REALLY just stickers from the factory? Oh the shame...

Yea..........BIG markups. The GT500 MSRP's for 42-48K I believe (coupe to vert). Dealerships are the reason ppl are paying so high for these things.
And let me second the thought that putting vinyl stripes on the new Shelby is ghey..........no, wait..........sacriledge. I agree, the owner is an idiot who knows probably very little about mustangs and just thinks owning it will make him cool[sm=loser.gif]
Purchaser of this car, if you're listening: you PAINT those stripes on........vinyl is for ppl who can't afford paint. Duh

I'd like to see a Ford Mustang with the build quality to be worth 55k sticker. [&:]

I was about to say, I could easily take the 04 off your hands Dan... I wouldn't mind at all. 
I don't think the GT500 is worthy of 55k, but I've yet to see one in person, so perhaps they're built better.
