Best mustang body style?
 

What do you guys think is the best mustang body style? I have an 06, and while I do like them, I think the best mustang body style Ford ever produced was the 99-04 model, specifically the 01-04 model with the dark headlights and the better spoiler. The car just looks cool, the headlights have a "mean" look to them and it truly looks like a muscle car.

I like the 06, but I'm not really digging the front circle headlights.

Worst body style? I'd go with either the 81-93 model, which just looked boxy, and the LX 4 cylinder models looked like ford escorts, or the 94-98 model.

So I'd rank them like this from best to worst: 99-04, 05-06, 94-98, 81-93.

Mustangs from the olden days don't interest me.

The 69's or ours are definately the best looking IMO

Probably worst would be Mustang 2's or the late 70's models.

mmmmm.....'68 fastback....wish I had the money/time/garage for one.

I'd go with that or the s197. I really like ours. If they had still been in the previous body style when I was car shopping, I don't know if I would have gotten one. Theyre still great too, I just don't like the body style as much.

Heh....I'll stay away from picking a worst Mustang.

my favorites are 67's, 70's, and 85-86's

I would say the worst are certainly the Mustang II's and the 94-98's. Sorry they were turds... From the best I would have to say the 60's cause they are original, then today's SN197, Edge cards, Fox.

I still gotta say I like the look of the 69 fastbacks more than any other- but the S197 is more than a few decades better...
