CAUTION::: they will not keep the hood from slamming into the windshield if it gets windy....$2000 in damages.

I am in the process of making some safety straps.

It must have been very frightening when the wind made your hood hit your windshield! I hope you got an attorney because it sounds like a defect in the car and it would help us all if Ford finally acknowledged this.

I guess they are like in the movie Fight Club where Ed Nortons's job was to decide if it would be cheaper to pay for individial claims or issue a recall. Hope you were not hurt.

LX200 - your car would look great with a black stripe to gowith that hood scoop! What brand is it?

(I would not get the hood struts though - they sound hazardous)
