Default cheapest place for Hurst shifter?

Does anyone know where I can get the hurst shifter cheaper than $189? rpm outlet has it for $159, but resellerratings.com shows them to be a bad risk. It'd be nice if the place actually had the part. $150 sounds like a much more realistic price for something that resembles the stock shifter very closely.

What make you decide on the Hurst over a Pro50 and Steeda?

I am curious why the hurst also. I just ordered the Steeda Tri-ax from www.stangsuspension.com I decided to spend the extra for the built in stops.

I haven't decided on the hurst, but if I could find it for a bit cheaper it might be worth it. I don't really need the heavy duty shifters. I might still go with the saleen option with steeda bushings.

Yeah, the steeda might be overkill for what I need or will use it for. But from the research I did it appears to be the best one out. I don't think you can really go wrong with the Hurst, Pro5.0, or the Steeda. They are all good products from good companies. Try mustangtuning or stangsuspension and see if they can match a price for you. Stangsuspension did for me.

I got mine from RPM and had no problems at all when ordering, was here in a few days. Oh yeah i was missing the nut that keeps the shifter in place but that was fixed with a simple nut from home depot.

I got mine from RPM also with NO problem. However, Summit auto racing has a price beat policy by $1. You would get it for $149 and I've also ordered from Summit and they are very reliable.

You will love the feel and look of the Hurst.
