Most likely they'll build 1100 units and the dealers will jam it up our "gaping **** holes" with another mark up of 20K! I'll be fine riding in my GT.

I have the September issuse of Motor Trend in front of me.
Speculated to be a N/A alloy-block 5.0 with 390 HP and the Shelby GT-500 Suspension.
I'll get a pic soon!

yup, just looking at the issue now, the one with the GT-H on the cover, to bad they are disabling the traction control on the GT-H, I think the only people that are really going to rent the GT-H's are people that cant afford a real stang and just want to play for a day. At $149 a day it is not worth it in my book.

I personally don't care if it had a V-12 in it, if there not going to change the body just a little bit. Throwing that engine in there and putting on badges just doesnt do it for me. I'd want something that would stanf apart from all the other GT's

+1 You can't even rent it if you live in the area with a Hertz that offers it.
You must prove that you are only visiting and choose to rent the GT-H.

-On a side note, its a pretty good issue for the Mustang with the coverage
of the GT-H (feature story and past article on last page), new Boss, and the step by step factory build on pg 142. Cool read!

Yeah the step by step build is making me think of getting the handling pack from ford to lower the car that he ordered. I wonder how much they charge for that.

I dont care about the power pack he got, i am not going to be racing and she has enough ***** for me and switching over to Premium fuel would defeat my whole purpose of getting rid of the jeep for a car, which was to save money on gas but still have that open road feeling. Anything I might get a cold air intake that doesnt require any messing with the computer, or a high performace air filter.

Thats all the originals were. 69/70 fastbacks with 302 high rpm motors. There bodies were identical except for the fender flares. It was the motor that set it apart. So if the new version has a different motor, I don't see the difference.

I personally only care about the motor and the vin. If that says it's a boss, it's a boss.

But I would not mind to see a functional shaker hood or ram air hood on there. Actually some functional vents for the brakes would be nice as well. The boss was a racecar, so it better look and act like one.

I think they will stroke the existing 4.6 to 5.0. I think that and a couple of tweaks will make 390 bhp just fine. I don’t see them putting in a 5.4 although that motor would have absolutely no problem hitting that 390 figure N/A. It wouldn’t be right to call it Boss 302 then now would it?

It does not have to be a 302, do we recall the 429 and the 351??????......

302 would be best though as weight will be an issue.
