Another enthusiast forwarded me the link below.

It's a collection of 0-60 and 1/4 mile times that have been accumulated from many different sources over the years. The sources include vehicle testing done by "the experts" at Car & Driver, Motor Trend, Road & Track, various written auto publications and from the auto manufacturers themselves.

I do not know if this info. is "old hat" to many of you, but for me it was interesting to compare the Mustang GT to other vehicles, including some I have owned. After saying that, I am not sure however if these numbers tell the real story. A couple of the vehicles I've referenced are one or two tenths of a second off the GT's 1/4 mile time, but in my view were far faster and superior vehicles.

I wonder if there better data to use when comparing vehicle performance. Any ideas?
