60K 5year warranty on annonunced for 06's
Thought I just saw that ford just announced that 06 mustangs are getting the 5 year 60K warranty! This was previously only offered on the 07's and I was going to forego an 06 but now that the warranty is being applied to new 06's that opens the door to more availabilty no waiting for orders! Is this confirmed?

I don't think so...
I went to Blueovalnews.com and could only find info on the 07 models having longer warranties..not 06... Double check. Is this a dealer telling you this?

RE: 60K 5year warranty on annonunced for 06's
I saw it on a Ford Motor Co Commercial last night, the ad stated that all new 06's are getting the extended warranty to help clear out. Actually makes sense to me, why not do it for 06's?

RE: 60K 5year warranty on annonunced for 06's
From what I believe was posted previously, the extended warranty applies to all 2007 vehicles no matter when delivered. It is actually retroactive to the very early deliveries.
For the 06 models, there is an effective date. From memory I think that date is June 14, 2006. Thus, all 2006's delivered on or after that date get the extended warranty (if I have the date right).
I took delivery of my 07 on June 12th and have the new warranty only because it is an 07 model.
